Maybe Solar radiation and Sunspots?? The sun has always been the case! But the variation in energy output is a fraction of a percent between the peak of a typical solar cycle and solar minimum. Looks like we won't have to worry very long. The sun is perking up now with more sunspots beginning to appear the last few months. Here is a couple good websites that I follow that have lots of info: solarcycle24.com swpc.noaa.gov
