I don't see a coherent policy argument in your rant to discuss. If you have an actual proposal on how to deal with drugs that would be more effective than what we tried the last few decades, I'd be happy to hear it. For now, all I see is to keep current laws, put conservatives in charge in every city and encourage religious belief among the inner city poor. Doesn't impress me as a solution. If I was interested enough, I'd go find some cities with a string of Republican mayors and compare their drug and crime stats against comparable cities under Democrats. I doubt there would be much difference at all, but it's up to you to prove your assertion.
