Trouble seems to be that every thing we as human being cannot cope with gets handed over to God. When I lived alone in my life I used to talk to God. It was a way of keeping me from being too lonely and it also served a purpose that I knew I was not truly alone. I used to recite that "Work is Love Made Visible." It was one of my favorite Gibran sentences... AND then I could really work hard... and persevere. I have not distanced myself from God but he is under a different form now. More spiritual and there but not as religions paint him to be. They make of God and Christ anything they want to serve their purpose. AND Jimmy Sweigart, James Baker and some of these other money hungry preachers have just turned me off.. I look for motives and follow the money. Call me skeptical.
