Marcos, metals to me are just shiny dirt which is good for various things. Some people are like bower birds and just love shiny baubles to decorate their nest.

On money, I'm in the process of developing a far better currency than exists anywhere. Going back to gold is like re-establishing Aztec rule complete with human sacrifice - the human sacrifice being swarms of people digging the stuff, processing it, guarding it in vaults, and generally wasting their lives in a pointless pursuit.

Having a self-dealing Federal Reserve to run a currency is better than most alternatives, but some weaknesses have now become evident to people who just a few years ago thought I was off my rocker in my criticisms and proposals for a better way.
