It's set in Montana, around some of my and Moose's stomping grounds. The plot is a little implausible, but it's a decent read nonetheless. I think his earlier books are better than the latter ones. I met him at a book signing at a bookstore in Settle. Have an autographed copy of one of his books around here someplace. He's really a very meek, soft spoken guy.
