I watch the sales on chicken parts. A package of thighs or legs for a couple bucks is all you need to make delicious stock for noodle soup. That and a package of Wylers or Bear Creek ready soup mix. Start there and add noodles, extra veggies and whatever. That's a real beauty about soup... anything goes. Soup and stew are the ONLY things I like about cold weather!
