Cant, you believe in Global Warming because you are a socialist. It's how people decide their belief. Socialists believe in Global Warm-mongering and capitalists don't. Socialists say huge new taxes are needed and to redistribute the wealth and that industrialists need to have their profits taken away. Capitalists think differently.
This is naive: <The govt. looks after PUBLIC interest > The government is politicians, and politicians look after themselves and use taxes and government money to pay their acolytes who keep them in power.
It's theoretically true that more or less, sometimes, politicians look after the public interest as they see it, such as keeping slavery in force, attacking Viet Cong, bombing Cambodia, attacking and killing Saddam, Uday, Qusay, letting in hordes of invaders from Mexicom, introducing Obamacare Death Panels, launching Space Shuttles, paying bludgers to sit around doing nothing, having a war on dope. But their "public interest" actions are intended to keep their noses in the trough, not to actually save the world.
The gullible among them have been led down the garden path by the deceitful likes of Phil Jones, and those who would beat up Denialists, gaol them and hopefully they would have heresy trials first as due process [such as throwing them in freezing water to see if they float]. Burnings at the stake were used once but of course that would not be good now because of the Greenhouse Effect result.
The Copenhagen jamboree is all about fun, posing, girls, flash hotels, air liner rides [preferably business class or even first class], strutting, being a Big Noter, more girls, expense accounts, yummy food, a break from counting tree rings and deciding how to hide the trends.
