Those government websites tell you everything except what you want to know. Their links do not take you to where you need to go, they tell you what to do to get to where you need to go, and all the tabs and links for that are on an entirely different page, which you may have on a different tab or not at all. The insurance companies aren't much better. They are filled with statements like: "We pay the planned amount for preferred providers" but they never tell you what the planned amount is. It's very frustrating. They need to boil this down to the nitty gritty. It's way too complicated. It's so complicated you can't rationally compare your options. It would take a specialist to even explain one of the options to you, and another specialist to explain another.
