Here's how I see it...Everybody and their brother/sister thinks they ought to be able to open a computer containing any number of programs and boards and add another program or board (upside down or backwards no matter)and it should work instantly. Doesn't matter that "we" have bartered down modems to the point of little or no profit for the manufacturer. We want it cheap and then we want to tie up a tech for two hours at no charge. Solution (IMHO) is to have the software or board installed by a person that knows what he/she is doing. Give 3Com a year to absorb US Robotic before you sharpen that pencil. Congrats on your writing skills but perhaps you should leave the lid on your computer. Leave it to the experts.
