Jay, I'm eyeing Dallas Semiconductor as an investor, not a trader. I heard Mary Farrell on Wall Street Week tout its virtues (stability, balance sheet, etc.) several months ago. I have more recently read that its success and stability lie largely in the diversification of its products. It does lots of different things well. But, I am not a techie. History major, here. So, it is difficult for me to make technological considerations about what the company actually does. What do you think of the long-term prospects of the company? Tom W.
