If you're going to retreat, it's best not to announce it like a sore loser ... ;-) What a decade it's been: The Internet bubble burst (although that's a little hard to say when the Internet is thriving) 9/11 Afghan War Iraq War Political/ideological division like I've never seen Housing bubble Housing bust Massive bank bailout Massive smaller bank failures Flat to down real wages for most people Going from a balanced budget to massive deficit spending I know I missed a bunch of shit; off the top of my head Three weeks left. My 'New Decade's Resolution' is to exit the partisan negativitiy and focus on the positive. I've got a feeling we may move forward with some really good stuff, and maybe with a better attitude of cooperation.
