What I find interesting is that you try to pretend that the most extreme solutions proposed are the only ones. I guess it is another version of your fondness for straw men. The data strongly suggests that if we just decrease our rate of increase of CO2 production, that is probably sufficient to let the increase in carbon sinks to halt change. And that would have the salient effect of decreasing our dependence on oil. Which is a national security issue and an economic issue.
