BTW, do you have any figures from the
Bellcore tests as to (given average
phone lines and connect distances) how
much DMT outperformed CAP in terms of rate/connect distance?

The politics is a tough one, but sooner or later, the
big boys who stand alot to gain by the adoption of
the technology are going to jump behind the one that
makes the most money for them (DMT). Capitalism wins
in the end, and this is not like the Beta/VHS wars I could
be wrong
