Fascinating. They are offering to pay 200K for dirt on the guy. Yeah, this sure IS coarsening of the public debate on healthcare.

As I recall, "Velvet Revolution" is a "discovery" by George Soros that it is possible to overthrow governments with very little bloodshed. They did it in Yugoslavia and in Georgia. Unfortunately, in both places their "velvet" eventually led to years of wars and bloodshed. But - who cares? They still "move on", they still believe in Soros - and in their beloved "velvet".

They did something similar in Ukraine, and called it "orange". On that particular interference, the jury is still out. I recall reading in Stratfor that it may still lead to great unintended consequences.

Bottom line - If some people feel compelled to run around the world sponsoring revolutions, they should at least have the good sense NOT to call them "velvet".
