The profit report last week was nothing short of u-u-u-gly. Missed analyst estimates by a penny, and they got hammered on currency. More charges, etc. It took the stock down to 31 and change at one point. Poor performance was previously predicted by the company, so none of this should have been a surprise, but it was not a happy day, nonetheless. Still, the stock yields 3.5 percent, twice the market average, and if CEO Fred Hassan ever gets costs under control, I think the stock will bounce back. I bought more at 32. Good investing.
