That's not exactly what I said, OTOH its not a complete distortion to something totally different either, possibly a distortion or spin, but not totally off base.

But "a traffic ticket was a death sentence" does not equal "people should be free not to follow the law without repercussion". They aren't even close. They are two totally unrelated ideas.

As for consent, its a normal English word with a well accepted meaning. "to give assent or approval". I very much doubt you can find a single dictionary that defines consent as "either agreeing, or being in the minority" or other words to that effect.
