Don't like "poor mouthing" much either. <g>

All they did was explain the economic implications. It's like when you go into a store you expect to find the prices posted. You don't consider posting the price of socks or a TV to be either advocating or trashing. The price simply IS. It's up to the consumer whether of not he wants to pay the price. What you're arguing is that prices shouldn't be posted. I can't agree with that.

Now, if California decides that the price is too high for the mammograms it pays for, that's it's decision. Blue Cross will make its decision and a woman who is self insured will make her decision.

Posting the price isn't poor mouthing. It's simply telling folks the cost of what they're buying. A customer on Amazon may post a comment that he thinks a product is a good value or he may poor mouth it. But posting the price isn't poor mouthing. It's offering necessary information to the buyer.
