It's been many years since the metro Denver area had any ice skating on city lakes. There are several artificial rinks around the city and that may be the extent of availability. The city of Evergreen, in the nearby mountains just west of town has always had skating on their lake and will again this winter. They already have more than a foot of ice on the lake. It's a very popular thing to do for the young at heart. Not me, I'll sit by the fire and do toddies.
