So you would be ok if your town took your land to build a row of apartments. If they were discussing the law you would not make any attempt to convince them to reconsider. Of course I might (depends on the price!) try to fight it. In the end, if I did fight it, a judge would decide. And I would live with the rule of law, as would any good citizen. BTW when I was young the Army Corp of Engineers took over 5000 acres from my family to flood for a recreational lake. Were we happy? Not even close. Did we get fair compensation? Yeah, but got screwed in other ways. Gotcha. Not even close Peter. Would you defend your property with weapons?
