Labor spat sinks Port of Seattle party
Port of Seattle officials canceled a Tuesday holiday party for union members and Port customers because a restaurant-workers union planned to picket the nonunion caterer hired for the event.

"Port commissioners and CEO Tay Yoshitani believe that continuing with the party in light of this picket is contrary to the holiday spirit," Charlie Sheldon, director of the Port's Seaport Division, wrote in an e-mail uninviting guests to the bash.

AND THE UNION DOES IT TO THEMSELVES AGAIN
