What we can be certain of now is that the next phase of the crisis has begun. It was formed, of course, the last 12 months. Now we are getting the recognition phase. It starts with Dubai, Spain, Greece. (those aren't triggers so much as merely the first places where recognition unfolds) No one knows what to do. If this was the early Trading Places scene, Eddie Murphy would be saying "Look Christmas is coming and they don't know what to do with the Treasuries taking a hit. Do they go to USD cash? Do they go to gold? Look at them. I can feel it. They don't know WTF to do." We know this much: the amount of capital currently hiding in USTreasuries is so enormous it's scary (of course alot of that is fake, circle-jerk foreign Central Bank daisy-chain I monetize you and you monetize me, capital).
