Snow may be headed for Seattle

Dig out your snow shovels. Seattle may see some snow accumulation early Monday.

According to the National Weather Service, snow showers are forecast to begin Sunday night and into Monday, with the possibility of some accumulation.

And we may get a respite from the cold weather in the next couple of days.

Clouds are expected to move in this weekend and temperatures should climb a bit, according to the Weather Service.

But the area remained in a deep freeze overnight, with this morning's low temperature of 21 degrees breaking the 23-degree record set in 1961.
