I just want our neighbors to pay more. You have to realize we are surrouned by older people who pay 2% of 50 or 60K while we pay 2% of 270K. I don't like unfairness, unless it benefits me of course, and this doesn't. So I'd rather pay more and see my neighbors suffer. It would be worth it to me. Also, because of Prop 13, the divorced twit who owns the house next door would never consider selling and instead rents her house to our neighbors from hell. They could never afford to live here if they had to buy. Before them we had even worse renters. I would imagine Jarvis and Gann dead, but I think they already are.
