Yes, and the underlying fact is that Big Ben, as he has said, and as he is nicknamed "Helicopter Ben", can pixelate all the "In God We Trust" promissory notes he he likes and issue those by the umpty $trillion as needs be. People trust God so it's a good promise.

Financial relativity theory is vastly stretchy but black holes beyond the event horizon lie in wait for the unwary.

As Hong Kong did in the Asian Contagion, Big Ben can print megabucks and buy the bottom of the stock market and make a fortune. They know it is the bottom of the market because they can define it as being so because they can simply keep on buying with more and more and more promissory notes.

Something is going to happen. A lot already has. Nearly 3 years into the decline and so far, so good. That's a very good start. There has been a LOT of market clearing in the past couple of years.

There hasn't been a cascading collapse beyond the event horizon into catastrophic financial implosion.
