I think I read the article you are referring to. There's good news (286 is better than none) and bad news (being in the country illegally is not considered criminal by the "left") in it. It clearly shows the attitude of those who are sworn to protect us. Unfortunately, Americans are subject to all these horrors as a result. Here are some excerpts:

BUT, the headline is misleading. It implies that only those that sell drugs, rape, murder and/or steal are "criminal" illegal aliens. That is a lie.
By definition EVERY illegal alien is a criminal. They violate our immigration laws. They use phony and stolen ID's. They lie to get credit cards. They lie to get home loans. They drive without a valid drivers license. They use our hospitals to create "anchor babies". They crowd our schools, harming the education of honest children. They take jobs from honest citizens. I could go on, but you get the point.
To the Left this may be acceptable. But it teaches that laws have no meaning, we can pick and choose which we will obey. It tells our children that respect for the law is a farce.
If ICE went to all the car washes and restaurants in Simi Valley alone, they could pick up 300 criminal illegal aliens every day, for 3-4 weeks, without a problem.
Time for a voter revolt. We need elected officials who obey the law, not excuse those that break the law. How would you handle this?
