I'd forgotten he fired Tom Landry earlier, sorry. He also fired Jimmy Johnson, a better coach than Landry at that stage of his career, after Johnson had had a couple of very successful seasons.

I actually agreed with the Landry decision - a great coach in his time, but, he was too old, had been around too long and every team in the league KNEW what plays he'd call better than he did.
