i agree completely. but i don't think gold is immune to the deleveraging that i think will occur in Q1. schiff disagrees and says everyone will run to gold instead of treasuries. some will, but i think schiff's view of most folks' financial intellect is a bit on the high side.

as santelli said on air when debating schiff, "you'd be surprised how many times people will do stupid things." -lol-

long term, though, gold is a winner as the dollar is a terrible loser. no doubt in my mind.

the charts seem to indicate a bottom for gld and slv. i'll be watching closely and may jump some miners.
