so the piece ends up giving cover to actual racists. Not at all. It gives cover against the charge of racism (to the extent that any such cover is really needed) for those who oppose Obama and/or proposed changes in health insurance. Yes some opposition to Obama is racist, but not enough of it to be worth talking about. And even if the majority of it was racist, that video wouldn't be providing cover for racists. It in know way advocates racism, or any racist idea.
