Good morning, Patrick

Re: "I often jump around SI to selected active threads during periods of high market volatility to get a pulse"

SI is a great reflection of herd sentiment. When the sentiment becomes extreme ... it serves as a reliable contrarian indicator. Last summer SI was deathly adverse to the semi equip makers and that was the time to buy. This summer SI waxed eloquent and chased the semi equip makers, just two months before the intermediate top and collaspe. Now SI is raving about the oil drillers, after the sector had a 15 month bullrun. Tells one something, does it not?

For techs, one must understand that technological basis precedes technicals precedes fundamentals ... and the cycle repeats. You are very bearish now, wary aren't you?

btw, when did you initiate positions in CDO and GE? On the list of stocks, you gave entry points. Tell me how you arrived at those entry points. And your next entry point for DELL below 70? I won't laugh, most things are possible under certain circumstances.
