How do you think they'll devalue the floating dollar? The only thing I can think of is that they announce they've just printed 15 trillion dollars and paid it to the US Treasury with the Federal Reserve buying new, 1-billion year, 0 percent T-bills, and they let the market figger it out.

Something like that. The same game plan as now, except in hyperdrive.

And I'm not sure why they'd opt for a dislocation when they could do the step-wise monetization, at least for a while before everything came unglued.
