Joe, ozone can't be made into an aerosol. It's life is very short; only 20 minutes, max. It must be produced by electricity at the time and site of use. Therefore, it can't be stored or packaged and shipped. OZON's equipment allows food processors, commercial laundries, healthcare facilities, etc. to produce ozone on-site and when they need it. Overall costs are reduced even though electrical charges increase. Users save money because of water reuse/recycling rates, wastewater clean-up and tarrifs, insurance and health related costs associated with storing chlorine, transportation costs of chlorine as well as the actual cost of chlorine. But, there are a number of residential uses for ozone that require ozone equipment: water wells (it beats the heck out of softening systems, or RO systems), pool/spa treatment (also beats chlorine hands down) and a number of other potential uses. Your idea was a good one, however, it just can't be done. |
