Rudolph (17835 ) From: Maverick Wednesday, Oct 15 1997 10:07PM EST Reply #17839 of 20516 COMS could use ASND's DSLTNT, DSLPipe (RA router), carrier-class multiservice core/edge ATM switch (GX & CBX), FR (B-STDX & STDX), IP switch (GRF), ATM concentrator (SA), integrated voice+video+data (Multiband), and SecureConnect. TNT can target carrier & large ISP & telco (7 Baby Bells) while the USRX's Total Control Hub can target medium and small ISPs. I actually see good synergy between COMS+ASND. If this is carried out COMS can compete in most CSCO's business segments. COMS still needs GE and Cable modem and interfacing to IBM's mainframe using SNA before it can fully compete against CSCO.
