I imagine at 55 megs per second we are talking about a very high resolution image with a real time application thrown in for good measure.Seems like FC class 1 has some advantages over other technologies where real time transfers are required.FC seems to be out to prove it's flexibility. This kind of application appears to make it downright limber. I know that class 1 has been de-emphasized here but as the FC technology progresses,and quality becomes more in demand over networks and the advantages of moving real time data become apparent, I think the class 1 field will grow larger then we think as prices come down for FC. Does QOS become an advantage in this kind of application?
I like the fact that Ancor will try to ride both horses(LAN and SAN). ANCR has the MKII. Why not find as many applications as possible for it. Doesn't seem Ancor loses focus by going after 2 markets.
