What gives the alarmists away is that they propose no real solution. Instead it is a program to hurt the economy of the affluent nations and give to the poor nations. They are against many real solutions such as nuclear power for example. Instead they prefer those that would provide little power at a huge cost. We should be putting more money toward more hot fusion research, but I suppose the alarmists will have you believe that this would blow up the world.
