It looks as though your numbers were too wildly optimistic rather than sand-bagged.

Unless there's a late year rally, it looks as though you are fading to the finish.

I'm disappointed that despite all the R&D under the bridge years ago and 3G blooming, the costs have increased as fast as revenue so the profits are going nowhere fast.

Employees now seem to be living off the fat of the land created over a couple of decades by those who went before and poured their hearts into Qualcomm.

It's good to keep up the R&D because mobile cyberspace is only just beginning. Mirsasol and other things need to be brought into action. But there should be a lot more money piling up than there is.

When even Neelie and the EU kleptocrats acknowledge that Qualcomm's royalties are a derisory joke and call off the dogs, it's pretty obvious that Qualcomm has grossly undercharged. Our pittance of income is being frittered away.
