If I manage it, it is done. the midwest and plains states are the places I've never been and I very much want to do that. and in winter. though I do not drive in the snow which could slow things down, but that's okay.

The cold you speak of (and, yes, weather affects our food so this is 'on topic'?) reminds me of the heat in the South... much of who we are here, be we black or white or urban or rural, is formed by the heat, the humidity of the summer, the dog days of August... it is when we are most alive and are 'the South', as I think of Wisconson and Montana and the Dakotas and other... being the winter, when it so cold and the snow so deep and the wind-chill in your bones...

I really do not think I've gotten the full American experience yet... not ever sat in a hot tub with a bbq going while the snow is blowing in Wisconson.
