I thought I would check online to see if Sterling and its affiliated stores have great sales. Incredible discounts would indicate poor sales. When I was in the mall a few months ago it seemed that most shoe stores had 60% off. Today I am very pleased to see the best deals are only 50% off ON THE SECOND pair of shoes. IMO that must mean margins are GREAT. The fact that with less than two weeks before Christmas they don’t feel the need to give away their shoes is very reassuring.
