We are three agreed in that case: <

My sentiments exactly, Marcos.

The Arabs were so lucky to have swarms of Jews move into the neighbourhood. The Sunnis might be very grateful when the Israelis ensure the Shiite Iranians don't get a chance to nuke their Sunni neighbours.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend. In the natural world, an animal being attacked squeals, shrieks or otherwise kicks up a commotion. It's not that the noise will scare the attacker or as an existential complaint so much as a call to larger predators who might be in the vicinity such as a dog who will think, "Hmmm, that sounds like a bird being attacked. I wonder if it's cat doing the attacking. I'll quickly go and have a look while it's otherwise occupied."

If we could get them to leave their tribal jihads behind in the atavistic barbarian age from whence they arose, and roll out fibre and install CDMA/OFDM/wifi mobile cyberspace, the new age would dawn.
