I happened to flip to Keith Olbermann tonight, and stopped to watch because he was talking about health care. It was pretty funny, because now he hates the bill as much as Sean Hannity does! He calls it health care reform without the reform, the health or the care. No public option? No Medicare buy-in? But the insurance mandate, which he described as a gift to the insurance companies, remains. He hates it now. He calls it a bad bill, and says the Dems have painted themselves into a corner; they will enrage both the Left and Right whether they pass this bad bill or they fail to pass it.

Never thought I would see the day that I would agree with Keith Olbermann.

Olbermann also discussed the new NBC poll, which he could not blow off, it being NBC, and did so fairly straight. It's not good news for Obama or the Democrats, at all, that Obama's job approval is at all-time lows or that more people would rather do nothing than pass the Senate's bill.

Olbermann is now calling for reconciliation. Sounds pretty desperate to me.
