I think Humphry died in 1829.

He had a broad range of interests and is well-known in England, but Michael Faraday, his assistant, became even more famous.

My mother's father was a direct descendant of Sir Humphry. He was such a jerk that he took off when he found out Gramma was pregnant and we know nothing about where he went after that.

I thought I might print out one of those online renditions of the fly fishing book and distribute it to family. One more project--maybe I should finish some others first.
