I think cpq and dell are taking lots of share in an industry whose growth rate measured in revs (as opposed to units) is turning down, cause avg. sell prices are turning down. Both have high multiples by historic norms. Esp. Dell. I consider both hyper risk.

The market has now become very cognizant of multiples, or really, meeting earnings expectations, not just current quarter, but coming year.

Personally, I think telecom equip and software are better places to be in tech.

Regards, Doug
