Regard Kopin as providing a reasonable first generation technology, at about 1/4 VGA resolution, that should help to test and prove the marketplace for pocket wireless computing/phone hybrid devices. You could perhaps liken them to the "John the Baptist" of portable display devices. The marketplace should grow dramatically when a company can finally provide the functionality of your desktop computer - including a full VGA or higher resolution display - in a cheap, pocket sized device that can run for hours without recharging. I do not believe Kopin or any other flat panel manufacturer has managed to produce small form factor VGA cheaply and in commercial quantity. MVIS, on the other hand, appears close to that goal.
