Short and sweet, why I like this method ?
Let me give you three reasons:
1. Now I can trade better my volatile NASDAQ stocks. Of
course I'm assuming more risk, but I respect Jeff's
great advice regarding the 5 day exit (when I can't watch my
positions intraday), the trailing stop exit (when I want to
increase my profit) and the most important for me: tight
protective stops !
2. It's a fairly low risk trading strategy, encapsulating
great common sense. Statistically, in backtesting the method
on a universe of over 500 stocks (above $50/share) over a
period of seven year period, there was an approximately 1 5/8
point average gain per trade over a five day period.
3. After first time reading I was disappointed: "It's all ?
So simple ?", but reading / thinking again I would say now:
"it's pure gold" from a PRO ... Thanks Jeff Cooper !
