"Congress has become useless." No - Congress has become a serious threat to our national well being. The defense bill includes planes not wanted. The omnibus budget bill contains thousands of earmarks. In the 60s there was a book "None Dare Call it Treason". That seems to apply today to our congress. Bush failed in not vetoing congress. Obama is making the same error. In effect, the Speaker of the House is the de facto president of the US. Bob
