Yep, I was a believer in 200mil plus oz of gold in Busang story. However, I sold after the first top, and am very grateful I did. BTW, I still own some 1000 shares of Bre-X wallpaper, having changed most of it into BreSea stock before the final curtain fell.

Since I was one of the fooled but also one of the enriched by the Bre-X price appreciation, I'm not sure how to answer your question. Possibly, the old saw: if it's too good to be true, it probably is.

RE: AZS...yes, I believed the values told early by Clive would result not in a $10 stock as you so graciously offered, but a $60+ stock, early in summer 196 after the first batch of results were released. I was on vacation in the Sierra's and called in on the phone to learn of AZS's tremendous find. Shudda sold, but didn't.
Silly me. I did, however, take some money off the table, after I realized Clive's MO had changed and the news releases weren't going to be released as timely as expected.

Having been thru that w/MKM, RGR, IVY, and a few others in recent memory, that lack of candor dismayed me, and I began to change my tune about AZS and BGO. I sure as heck didn't buy anymore. When an exploration company starts acting like a producing co., the rules change and so do expectations. I knew then I was in for a loooooooooooong hold instead of the "quick exploration flip."

As far as what I'm playing now? Sorry, but not much in the exploration field has caught my eye. I'm keeping an open mind about FGX, AAS, Altair, PGD, and Argosy. Don't currently have positions in any of them.

I'm playing the futures market mostly right now, and just keeping an eye on the portfolio of telephone and oil company stocks, plus BGO and AZS(grin) and a couple of laser and computer software stks.

My investment dollars are in CSN (NYSE) first and foremost. I love their story, their stock splits and their revenue mix.

Good Luck to you and yours.
