FredE: Divx is a potential problem in my opinion (which many think is worth 2 cents) as it could leave the perception in potential investors' mind that the whole DVD story mimics the beta/vhs days ? So the bottom line is perception rules regarding whether to buy CUBE or not and Divx is maybe a year away before the DVD dust settles. Lets hope that DVD-movie XMAS sales do well.

By the way, is it possible that the recent turmoil might actually decrease PC prices (imports to USA) and thus actually fuel an explosion in USA PC sales ? That coupled with a lowering of % rates, low inflation and maybe even new lows in umemployment could actually help CUBE in that imported DVD players could drop further in price too ? Would CUBE then have to reduce chip prices ? Would the demand take up chip slack ?
