oh. those sound good. sister #2 was here for Thanksgiving and was remembering back to our Granny's fried apple pies and thinking of having a deep-fryer just to make them. that recipe sounds like it might get the taste... with a lil less grease and no need for a deep-fryer (or a skillet filled to the brim with grease). I'm going to send it along.
