courtney/comox area is quite nice but is
so busy and developed now. we thought about
moving there after retirement - it used to be
a sleepy little place way back when.

just south of there is a little spot called
fanny bay - FANTASTIC oysters. must remember
to stop on the way back to port harding and
pick up some to take home.

we spent a christmas at mount washington one
year when the kids were little. rented a condo.
it was great to get away from the commercial
aspect of it all and to the snow.
