But some work in this mess, since the EUR gains a bit vs Yen and Chf, trying to close the gap below 1.50.

Still impossible to say what folks are up to. It appears that even after the drop people still flee the EUR and buy something else, mostly the dollar.

If the DX contract makes it towards 79 then I am really concerned, then they might try 80s. This is still a possibility since no DX constituent (neither Asian nor European) sees any buying recently.

Seen from libor curves this is not a matter of scarcity of dollars... the curve should be tighter but this is perhaps a matter of time, so either the libor stiffens (the March 11 over 1.75) or the dollar gets sold.
