I have seen others question some of Plimer's references, but he didn't cherry pick them to totally support his arguments and ignore the ones that didn't. He put them all in warts and all as should be done for proper balance. To question 11 references out of over 2,300 doesn't make much of a dint in the overall accuracy.

If his book is your "reference" then I'm disappointed in you Vet. Can't you do better?

Considering the fact that "climategate" had not broken at the time of the publication, what comment do you have about his discussions of the CRU, Mann and the rest of that crew?

I'm still gathering the facts and have not come to a conclusion yet. I don't see some giant conspiracy involving thousands of scientists let alone 100's. Let's see what comes out of the investigations before hanging everyone.

The volcano issue is a red herring as nobody has real data, and it's all a "best guess" estimate, and it isn't central to the argument in any case. CO2 is issued by volcanos but eruptions are sporadic so the totals all depend on the time period you are considering, and the undersea activity is very poorly measured.

No Plimer hung himself pretty well spewing crap. He obviously didn't know what he was talking about. The estimates are fairly accurate if you would just do some research which obviously your not interested in doing. My oceanographer friend chuckled with that one! He has actually done research off the coast of Washington on undersea volcanos for NOAA and U of W. (smokers)
